This kit is designed for Scania Next Gen / NGS / NXG vehicle refrigerators used in truck and tractor unit cabins of the G, P, S and R series. It is used when the original control panel, compressor controller or refrigerator electronic communication system is damaged.

The kit restores the basic refrigerator functions, such as switching the refrigerator on and off, setting the temperature and proper control of compressor operation.

The kit does not count operating time, so the refrigerator can operate without a lock caused by an hour counter.

All elements required for operation are located on the control unit in the upper part of the refrigerator:

- On / off switch
- Selection buttons for setting the required cooling temperature
- Digital temperature display

The PSCAN panel is responsible for user-side refrigerator operation. It allows the refrigerator to be switched on and off, the cooling temperature to be set and information to be displayed on the control panel.

The panel has an additional service USB-C socket.

The 101NBD14F5 controller is responsible for controlling the compressor used in the Scania refrigerator. The kit is intended for refrigerators with a Secop / Danfoss BD1.4F-FSD Micro compressor.

Additional data commonly found on refrigerator nameplates:

- Refrigerator power supply: 24 VOLT DC – 50W
- Refrigerant commonly found on nameplates: R134a or R1234yf
- Capacities commonly found on nameplates: 17 LT, 20 LT, 30 LT, 40 LT

Kit application:

The kit can be used as a replacement for the original electronics in Scania Next Gen refrigerators where there are problems with the control system or compressor operation.

It is especially recommended when the refrigerator:

- does not switch on,
- does not cool,
- does not start the compressor,
- switches off shortly after starting,
- does not respond to the control panel,
- does not allow temperature setting,
- has a damaged control panel,
- has a damaged compressor controller,
- permanently displays error E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, E6, E7 or E8,
- has a communication problem between the panel and the controller,
- operates unstably after a power failure, short circuit or voltage drop.

Using the complete kit allows typical problems occurring in the original Scania Next Gen refrigerator electronics to be eliminated.

Temperature sensor compatibility:

The kit works with the original NTC temperature sensor used in the Scania refrigerator, provided that the factory sensor is functional.

When connecting the NTC sensor, one sensor wire must be connected to terminal C, and the other sensor wire must be connected to the green wire of the kit instead of connecting it directly to the controller.

This means that the green wire is connected to one core of the NTC sensor.

Kit installation:

Before disassembly, we recommend taking photos of the old panel and controller connections to keep the correct wire order when installing the new kit.

During installation, remove the terminals from the old blue connectors and transfer them to the new connectors according to the wire layout in the original installation.

The white wire in the new compressor controller must be connected to terminal T.
