The NTC temperature sensor, also referred to as an NTC thermistor, is intended for MAN New 2018 / 3rd generation vehicle refrigerators used in truck and tractor unit cabins.

This element works with the temperature control system, control panel and electronics of the MAN refrigerator. In practice, it performs a measuring function for the electronic thermostat, which is responsible for the proper operation of the refrigerator, maintaining the set temperature and controlling the compressor operation.

Application of the NTC sensor:

The NTC temperature sensor is responsible for measuring the temperature inside the refrigerator and transmitting this information to the refrigerator control system. Based on the sensor reading, the electronics decide whether to start, stop or continue compressor operation.
