The unit is equipped with a key switch that allows the user to select one of two previously programmed operating temperatures. For example, one key position can maintain +8°C, while the other position can maintain +27°C. After turning the key, the fridge automatically maintains the selected temperature inside the chamber.

This solution helps reduce the risk of accidental or unauthorised temperature programme changes. The user does not change the temperature setting from the control panel - selection is made only with the key switch. This is especially important when transporting products that require controlled temperature conditions, such as medicines, vaccines, blood, blood-derived products, laboratory samples and preparations sensitive to storage conditions.

The fridge can be connected to a cigarette lighter socket to maintain the selected temperature during transport in a car, ambulance or pharmacy transport vehicle. It can also be connected to mains power at home, in a pharmacy, hospital or laboratory. It is a practical solution for longer journeys and for companies or institutions transporting products that require stable temperature conditions.

Suitable for the transport of vaccines, blood, blood-derived products, growth hormone, anaphylaxis medicines, adrenaline and other injectable medicines, interferon, insulin, antibiotics, immunological products, biological samples, heat-sensitive substances, as well as for the transport and storage of parenteral nutrition fluids.

The fridge is also recommended for diabetics, people using growth hormone, doctors making home visits and veterinarians.

NOTE: The temperatures for both key switch positions are programmed individually before the device is dispatched. As standard, the unit can be programmed, for example, to +5°C and +22°C, but at the customer’s request we can program other values in the range from +5°C to +45°C.
